"Veerakkal Daivangal" - My debut Film !!

A long time dream come true with my debut film "Veerakkal Daivangal". A saga of stoned heroes of Venad.
It was one of my greatest desire to act in a film. Now it has come true.
Thank God for giving me the opportunity.
I am doing the role of  "Pareeth Avuliya", one among the four warriors of Venad.
My twin brother is also in the film doing the role of "Potti."

"Veerakaldeivangal" is a short film based
on an untold history that dates back to AD 1600 which revolves around
people of two lands who speak different languages, but own hearts with
utmost desire to gain power over each other and establish supremacy of
ego over each other. Its about the friendship and patriotic love of
four warriors, Kali Nair, Kannamma, Pareeth Avuliya and Bhairavan who
have only one mission i.e. to protect their mother land, even if it
meant sacrificing their earthly lives for the sake of their Master
Iravikutty Pillai, the Army Chief of Venad King Unni Kerala Varma, who
was repeatedly attacked by Thirumalanaikar, the ruler of Madhurai.
Each day of these five heroes’ lives move on aspiring to embrace the
great day they might leave their earthly life, but will be ever
remembered and respected for their martyrdom, and be glorified as
“Veerakaldeivangal”, (the brave stoned Gods of Venad/ brave stoned
heroes of Venad) who gave their lives bravely for the Mother Land.

The film will be released in mid December 2011. Waiting for its release now.
Waiting for its success..

For more details about the movie visit this page in Facebook.

Its all about a second....

It was the second day after i joined with the company. Company had  an induction program for the new employees to introduce everything about the office to the new comers. I knew only a very few faces on that day. My friend and me sat around a table. 4 other people also joined us at the table. We made an introduction with the people around the table.

The program started. Everything was going serious and also fine. Senior Managers, project heads, HR managers, etc and such top officials were having a few sharing of words with us. Before lunch there was another speech by a top official whose speech was so inspiring and motivating.  I was tempted many times to stand up and applaud for his beautiful speech. But standing up alone will make others think that i woke up from sleep. So i didn't.

After his speech, he was answering to the queries by the audiences about his personal life. Even though i was motivated by his talk, his answering session made me feel bored. So i started drawing speaker's head (side pose) in the notepad given to us. HR managers noticed me not listening to him and drawing something. HRM couldn't see what i was drawing.I put a small signature on it and wrote thank you by its side. I was simply drawing it and as the picture was good i just tore it from the notepad and folded it and kept with me. HRM was having a bad opinion on me when i was tearing the paper. They were murmuring each other.

I thought of giving this picture to the speaker. But i was really tensed. I want to give it, but i was tensed about the reaction of others. My mind was telling me to stand up first. But my legs were not giving me the support. I was telling in my mind." I should give this. I should give this. Just stand up. Then give." I was telling this for many times to my mind. I started sweating even though the room was air conditioned. I shook my body to get out of the shivering. Heat was going up in my head. Hands sweating up. Mind telling " Stand up man, stand up".

I was just lacking a single support to stand. If i didn't give, nothing will happen. But if i give, i can't predict the reaction. What to do? "Give or not". One second to stand, it could change everything. I was haunted by my positive attitude and confidence which made me say myself " Give it. "

Finally with a high pressure, I closed my eyes and took a long breath. The speaker was near me. I was about to stand up. Suddenly another person from the audience stood up and said to the speaker that his speech was so encouraging and motivating. The speaker was happy to hear it. Speaker went away from me.  Everyone applauded him for the good speech. Damn... I lost it. The speaker asked " Can we leave for lunch ?" HR said " ok ". My mind again started heating up. Speaker asked again to audience " Anything else ?"  A change in a single second. Some power from my mind pushed me up to stand. I stood up. I don't know what to say. Legs were getting weaker. The speaker came to me and asked " Anything to say? " .

I was searching for words and slowly started. I said " I am not an artist or a painter.  But this is for you. I tried to drew your picture. This is for giving us such a good speech. " And i gave that paper to him. He was surprised to see it. HR was saying " Wow". My ears filled with silence for a second, then suddenly got filled with full round of applause and excitement sounds from audience. My mind got super cooled.  The speaker said, " And that made me my day."  And the session was ended for lunch. The HR and other people were eager to see the picture and he was happy to show it. I escaped from the scene after telling my mind " You have done it man.." . During lunch, everyone was searching for me to ask about the picture.

That day got over. Days passed. After 3 weeks, we had a meeting with that person who was the speaker on that day. He announced all official things to us. Before we start to leave the room he asked " Who was the guy who drew my picture on that day ? " I said " Sir, I am." He asked my name and i said it. He told that he was having that picture in his purse and he had shown it to some of the other officials who met him 2 days before.  I was so delighted and i was proud of myself for that one second. And that day also ended up with a happy mood.

"A single second has changed everything.. Like this every second is waiting for you.

Just be positive, confident and do it."

This is my advice...

3 + 1 = 4 days, A new experience in life...

I had a desire for acting in a movie and i was chasing it down for past few years. I tried a lot of times to get a chance, but wherever I go I was dropped down. And finally i got a chance to act in a short film now. And shooting was done in 3 days and an extra 1 day, totally 4 days. It was a new and good experience in my life which taught me the difficulty of making a film and about the team work. A little more work for the film is still pending.

For 3 days, the location for shooting was at Shenkottai, a place in Tamil Nadu. A beautiful place with paddy fields on one side, hills on another side, forest and a huge pond also which makes the place more beautiful. But the atmosphere was so hot and dry. Some people of the crew used sunscreens, but it didn't save them. I didn't use any of the chemicals. Everyone was affected by sun burn. It was hard to lie on bed as the shoulders were completely burned.

First day i was fully in front of camera. But second day, i tried to be in the shade whenever i was out of camera. But that too didn't worked. It was harder to sleep than the first day. I thought if i were a Film star, i could have a person holding umbrella whenever i am out of camera or i could have an air conditioned caravan to rest in. I slept on that day, just because i was tired. Some of the artists were there just for hours. They too were affected. Just think  the difficulty of others who were there for three days. Third day i had a wet towel around my shoulders every time.  That was a great relief. And i was so happy to get out of that place. when the director finally said "pack up". I was driving the car back to Trivandrum and it was really difficult to move my hands and shoulders.

Somehow on recovering from the burn, another call for 1 day shoot came. Again had a shoot for a day at Aruvikkara, Trivandrum. And shoulders started burning. Now again recovering. I understood how the commercial film actors and the film crew try hard to make a film success. That is a real team work. I was happy to have a good experience in my life. I love such different experiences.

My dream, my aim...

When I was a school boy, me with my dad and cousin sister went to some beautiful place long way from home. My cousin sister was having an interview on that day. There was a huge tower at the center of the road which was an amazing view for me, the first time. But it was familiar to me through a Malayalam film. On another side, construction of road and a building was progressing. After interview, we came back. Dad told me on  that day to  get a job there. It was the first time dad was talking to me about job. The place was Technopark, Trivandrum.

When I was in college doing my engineering degree in Computer Science, I was aiming for a job. But as my dream was to get a job in technopark, i tried for it many times. But failed in all attempts. I got into a job within the city near my home. But technopark job was miles away from me. I was thinking of jumping to any of the companies in technopark with experience. Nothing worked. I  resigned my job. I was wandering here and there for a few months. My friends and college mates got into technopark. I saw computer engineers of famous IT companies who were my college mates. The lighter part was that they were doing engineering in Electrical & Electronics. I was wondering that the companies rejected me even when i had experience and a Computer Science degree.

I promised myself to get a job in technopark and to work there in any company atleast for a day. As referred by my friend i went for an interview and i got selected. It was an exciting moment for me. Finally the date of joining came as 12th September 2011. I was really surprised to see the joining date because it was my birthday. I still believe that its a gift from God for me on my birthday.

It was my fate and God played a good game. 2 years i tried hard for the job. I didn't get. August 12 2011 a bad thing happened in my life. I thought fate was going opposite to my dream. But ten days after, on August 22 2011, I got a job. And exactly after 1 month, on 12 September 2011, I joined RR DONNELLEY, Technopark, Trivandrum as process associate.
God closed one door of my life and opened another one for me.....

And now I got my first salary...

Thank God...

Acting - A tough job

Acting is what i felt tough when compared to singing. I am a good singer. I used to perform on stage. So no stage fear like facts had affected me. But acting had made me stand upside down to bring it on the right way. Expressions, Dialogues & body languages, all should come at the same time.

I got a chance to act in a tele serial when i was on 8th std. At that time i thought acing was really easy. But my role had a easy job, because i had less dialogues. Just stand with the elders of the serial, since i was acting as their children.
That was my role. But whenever i started telling a dialogue, the director start shouting "CUT".
Everytime when i hear these words i was getting more tensed. Lights On, Camera Rolling, Action....

I thought directing was a easy job. And  camera too..

But now, at present, i could realize that acting, directing, camera, etc has its own difficulty. You should capture it with your hard work.It is really hard and needs a great practice and hard work to implement it well.
I went for many auditions of films. I used to act well there, but i could understand very lately that i was not selected because i had no expressions on my face.
Everytime when i feel that i don't know acting two films come to my mind motivating me to try acting again. Those two films are "Udayananu Tharam" & "Best Actor".

Some dialogues in the movie are really made for people like me. And i am still continuing my pursuit behind acting.
Hope 1 day i will become a good one in the film field.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Today INDIA is celebrating its 65th Independence day.

We Indians see many injustice like corruption and terrorrism. And we see our police force not doing their job properly.

But today it was a day of rewriting the concepts of Police force. The bad conditions of road was a curse for Poojappura residents. (Poojappura is in Trivandrum,Kerala). No government officials had utilised their position for public. Neither the trivandrum corporation.

Today on Independence Day the Police force of Poojappura Station had motivated and inspired the public by doing a great work. The police had made the road temporarily in good condition. Police were complemented by public. The work was a real reply to lazy & irresponsible government and corporation.
Even though Police are not doing their duty well enough this duty has captured the hearts of public.

This must be motivation for everyone in our republic INDIA.
Those who have the power, they have to do their responsibility.

Jai Hind....

A day @ Police station

Last week i had an opportunity to visit the police station with my friend. I went to accompany him.
We were waiting outside the building. I was getting bored, cos nothing was happening in police station. it was just like a crowded government office.

Suddenly a police jeep came inside the compound. Shoutings by a man was heard from the jeep. All eyes aimed that jeep. It was a drunken man. He was caught by police and was brought to station. He got many punches on his face from the constable. He started removing his clothes and threw it outside the jeep. It was a trick and he said to police that he can't exit without dress. Policemen took the dress and gave it to him and he continued throwing it out. Finally he dressed up and exit the vehicle. Police constables told him to enter the station which was strongly refused by him... Constables pushed him, pulled him, nothing worked. He was shouting " *Enikku police stationil kerenda oru aavashyavum illa.". After sometime Sub Inspector came from his room and stood at the corridor, stared at him and screwing his mustache, he said " KEREDA**". His sound was really superb bold and strong. The drunken man entered the building, and wished the sub inspector and got inside silently.

Even if all the people standing outside were tensed about their problems, they didn't hide their laughter at that moment. I could really remember that scene which was a really superb one, which shows the power of a policeman.

*- I don't want to enter a police station
** - Get in

Nostalgia

I joined B.Tech in the year 2005 June and since then i haven't cleaned my room, but last week i did it.
4 years of my college life passed through my mind through out at the time of cleaning.

I started with my class notes. 1st year books were right there. All completed notes, completed assignments and all. After that i could see the blank pages and scribbled pages in other semester notes. I saw an assignment marked "Late Submission". A lot of spiral bindings and stick files was there to sort. There were duplicates notes, i mean the borrowed notes from my friends to study for supplementary exams. Rough records, Fair records, Mini Project, Major project reports, seminar reports, photostat copies of reports, notes etc was in a bulk which took me some time to sort.

There were lyrics of songs which i hear through radio stations. Romantic songs, melodies, and also sad songs during the final year time. Many creative drawings and writings which was made just a day before yesterday since the creative works awake only at that time.

And finally i could find my 3 bags out there with special colors which i used each year.  That day i was caught by these nostalgic feeling and i spend that day hearing those favorite songs.

Vice City to Angry Birds...

There are some games which makes our mind filled with each and every level of the game. Let it be a small one or a huge one. Everyone has their own interest. And i had interest on two of the games, "Vice City" & "Angry Birds".

Vicecity was introduced to me by my best friend during my +2 days. It was 2nd term exam time. After failing for both physics and chemistry in the 1st term exam, we both were advised by the class teacher and parents to score high for 2nd term exam for physics and chemistry. Even though physics was a little tough, we didn't loose our hope for making chemistry exam easier. Chemistry exam was on Monday. We had two days study leave for that. On Saturday, my parents were out of station. I called my friend and reported that my parents were not home. He had guests at  his home, so he jumped out off the house by telling that he couldn't get concentration and came to my home for studying. We spent 1 hour by talking about all the other matters and came back to studies with great seriousness. My friend opened his text book and started studying. I asked his notebook for me to refer. When i opened his book, I saw a disc inside his book. It was Vice City game cd. My twin too was there with us for studying. We asked my friend to install it in my computer and my twin wants him to teach the game controls etc.The game was really interesting that we couldn't study anything on that day. Next day three of us should have studied... But we said that we studied last day and enjoyed that full day with family... Next day, chemistry exam. Any doubt?? Sure.. We all failed.

After along time, I went to my friend's home for teaching his younger brother. He showed me a new game "Angry Birds". The game which is popular through iphones. Again i went back another game. But on that day studies were not affected by the game. I was thinking those happy days of Vice City time. Even though many games came to my life between Vice city and Angry Birds, these two were really special because it was given by someone special, my friend.

Interviews i hated the most...

I had attended a lot of interviews during the hunt for jobs and still continuing. In those i had three bad experiences which i hated the most.  Let me share those experiences here.
First of all let me thank all the other interviewers for having a friendly and good smiling chat with me for a little time, even though they didn't give me a job.

Now let me start the first experience. I went to a company referred by my dad's friend. The interviewer looked so dull and tensed with the office work that day. And he started asking me questions. I replied for some, and some i didn't. After the continuous, let me say interrogation, he said, u don't know these questions.. Why? And started telling many things.... I used to open my both ears at such incidents, so that i couldn't get hurt by his words. That too i don't remember it..  After exiting the room decently, i called my best friend and started calling bad words which was purely dedicated for the interviewer. Thank God for the control inside the room.

Secondly i went to another office. I was the only person to attend the interview there. I was sitting inside the waiting room. A man came and asked me for my bio data. I gave a copy of that to him. When i was near to him i  sensed a great smell of alcohol. When i entered the room he was the interviewer. His eyes were red and had falling eye lids. His tongue was slipping when each word was spelled. And on every question a breeze of alcohol smell combined with room freshener smell reached me. He was fully floating... Filled with alcohol. Drunken interviewer. He asked me many questions about computer science and i answered them all. After all the questions, he said that all my answers were wrong. I was damn confident with my answers because i was sure that i am right. He finally told me to study computer science a lot more. Thank God, he didn't vomit in front of me.

Third and last was with a electrical company. They had the contract of configuring routers. So i was ready to join. During interview interviewer asked me to draw the figure by giving a question. I have done it correctly.. He was happy to see that. He asked why i was having low marks in engineering when compared with sslc exam... without waiting for my reply he started. You just wasted your parent's money in 4 years. I was thinking, why he was bothered about that. My parent's love spending money for me. I was sure that he was not an engineer. Then came the next statement. You should not be given any money or food by your parents. You should earn yourself for that. I was thinking, no parents would do that. And i was ready for getting employed and that stupid was not in correct level i hope. He may have forgot for what purpose i was there for. Anyway after all he gave me his card. I looked at it and saw his qualification as B.Sc. My prediction was right. I told him that i don't need this job when he called me upon phone on the next day. Thank God i had control again.

There are more interviews to come. Both Good and bad.. Waiting continues.

Thank GOD

A reply for all... (Continuation of previous post)

The news which was telecasted by asianet news a few days after the previous post in this blog " Crores for Cricketers & Salute for Soldiers"...
In that post i have mentioned there are no public toilets in any states of India.( 5th paragraph 3rd line)
I got both good and bad comments for this post. Here is the reply for all comments especially who supported giving crores to cricketers...
And here it is, the result of not having a public toilet...
Watch it.. You will be really shocked.
After watching this you think whether your taxes must be given to cricketers or must be used for public benefits.

Crores For Cricketers, Salute for Soldiers !!!

After 1983, team India won the Cricket World Cup 2011. All the team members, non players, selection committee were congratulated with raining rewards.

Since 1947 India is secured by the brave soldiers in the country who sacrifice their life for the whole nation. All the soldiers were congratulated with Indian flag covering their coffins and a last salute by great officials and good patriotic words from PM, CM & president about the dead soldiers.

Cricket players have break after each 6 balls with refreshments.
Cricket players have another income through advertisements.
If soldiers take a break, it will end with his death.

BCCI itself offered 1 crore rupees each for all team members.
State Governments of corresponding players offered another crore.

From where do these crores come from? Its all our tax. Do you pay tax to reward players??
How many states in INDIA have public toilets??
Prices of goods go high.
How many government hospitals are fully functioning?
How many roads and footpaths are so good for use?

Karnataka State Government offers land for each player to build their house.
Do each and every person in Karnataka have a shelter to rest?
What about poor people? Government has to take care of them.

There are a lot of people affected by Tsunami in 2006. Are all those affected people safe now?

Cricket is a sport. Don't make cricket a ground of money flow.
How many players in the team will play for the country? And how many will play for money?
The next generation players will play aiming at these rewards rather than play for country's pride in sports.

There are many things to be done by Government. I pointed only a percentage of that.

The media should go on a big deal on this topic and bring out the facts.

Theories behind Cricket World Cup 2011, India

2011 Cricket World Cup held in India, Bangladesh & Srilanka was won by team India, The second time win under Mahendra Singh Dhoni's captaincy fulfilling Sachin Tendulkar's dream after a long time.

After waiting 28 years India won the World Cup 2011 after 1983. There were many theories behind Indian Victory. Here are some of them.

1. Epic Theory
One of the theory was based upon an epic "Ramayana"
In Ramayana, Rama married Sita. . When Rama was spending 14 years in forest fulfilling his mother's wish Sita was kidnapped by Cruel King Raavan of Lanka. After 14 years Rama and Raavan had a great fight and Rama killed Raavan and got Sita back.

India(Rama)  Sita (World Cup)  Raavan (Srilanka)

India won World cup in 1983. Was taken by Srilanka in the year 1996. After 14 years, in 2011 India fighting with Srilanka in the final India got the cup back.

Another theory was
2. The SPIN Theory:

Spinners played an important role through out the tournament. "SPIN"
S- Srilanka
P - Pakistan
I - India
N - New Zealand

In this, Srilanka Vs New Zealand was 1st Semi Final.
India Vs Australia in 2nd semi final.

In the word SPIN , "I" is the only letter which is vowel. So I - India wins.

3. The RAJANIKANTH theory

No doubt in India's victory in World Cup 2011.
No other team is as strong as INDIA.
VirendRa Sewag
TendulkAr
YuvraJ
GautAm
S RaiNa
DhonI
Virat Kohli
HarbhAjan
Z KhaN
M PaTel
R AsHwin

4. TIE to TITLE (An experienced theory)

In a tournament, if captain Dhoni's team face a tie in any of the match. The Cup will be won by Dhoni's team.

Dhoni as captain of team India won the 20-20 world cup. In that tournament Indai Vs Pakistan match was a tie.
As the captain of Chennai Super Kings(CSK), the IPL was won by CSK after having a tie match with Punjab kings XI.
In champions league T20 also CSK won the cup. Tournament again included a tie match.

In 2011 Cricket World Cup chasing India's total of 338, England scored 338 to make the match tie.
India won the World Cup 2011.

Superb theories, Superb World Cup 2011.
Superb Champions Team INDIA. With Superb captain MS Dhoni.

A little time with the poor children...

Today noon I had spend around an hour with the poor children of  "SMSS HINDU MAHILA MANDIRAM (For the welfare of destitute and Orphan Girls)".  They were given a good sadhya (meals) with ada payasam. There were 6 staffs looking after these 110 children which includes 18 kids. And one head mistress who leads them. I was amazed to see many biggie cash teams like many banks and other companies as the donors of this orphanage.

I was taken to the dining hall of those children. I wished to serve them the food. But i was taken to the room only after serving the food. But for my happiness, as i wished, God gave me a chance to serve the bananas   which was included with sadhya for ada payasam. After a minute all the children came to the room and took their places. They had a 10 seconds prayer before having their food. I was amazed to see the children praying before taking food. Most of us dont pray to God before taking food. Including me. I sat down with the children and i also had the lunch with them. It was really hot inside the dining room. I was fully sweating when i was eating. That was the only difficulty. The food was very homely. I am very happy to know that they serve good homely food. I was thinking about the difficulty of those children who takes food 3 times a day in that heat filled room. The hall has 2 fans at centre which will never breeze at the corners.

It was a wonderful time spending with them. Their smiles after taking a good sadhya filled my heart. I enquired many things to one of the staff. I was surprised to know that those children were not given any non vegetarian items till then. When i enquired more about it, they said they were not given any non veg items. If someone from outside donate non veg items they move the non veg items completely and serve with veggies.
Most of the children now in the city wont swallow the food without non veg dishes. But the children here will do.

After all the children had taken their food they left the room. Some students were having SSLC exams. Kids were playing around there. The staffs were ready to have their lunch after children's lunch.
I thanked every staffs for serving the food. And i also complimented about the lunch to the head mistress.

I don't know how many people will read this post in my blog. Whoever reads, have a heart to help these poor children with your small donations. You can also visit here between 8.30am - 5.30pm.

"Who said these children are orphans when there are many donors in the world. All they have to do is just Donate"

Engineering Graphics - Think Different!!

I have been on the Engineering Graphics tuition class officially for about two years in teaching my students. I was in middle of the students and was in middle of pencil, rubber, scale and other equipments fully working on drawing. This time i had a thought little different in doing with these stationery items other than drawing.

The result is shown below on 10 photos. Check it out.

The Same Dialogue...

I am going to tell about dad. Someones dad may match with what i say.
It was an experience of mine i am going to share with you.

It was one Sunday noon. I was coming back home after my class. In front of the Secretariat (Statue, Trivandrum) the signal  was red. So i stopped my bike. I was the first person to reach the signal. As it was Sunday the road was almost empty. I looked through the right rear view mirror of my bike. I saw a transport bus jumping towards right after reaching near my stopped bike. He violated the signal just missing me and my bike. The bus was at a high speed.
I was thinking the fraction of second my life was saved. I looked whether there is any other bus. No.

I looked at the left rear view mirror and saw a high speeding transport low floor bus jumping after reaching near to my stopped bike. Both drivers thought i would violate the signal and go. I stared at the bus driver. He told me hand signal to go violating the signal as there was no vehicles on other  side to cross the signal. After signal turned green , I went.

After reaching home, I told this to my mom. My mom said, " Take care my son".
After that i told my dad, " Just escaped Dad", after explaining the whole thing.  Dad stared at me and said
" Allelum ninakku ichiri speed kooduthalanu..." * and went.

See the dads reaction. I was on road without moving and it was bus driver's mistake. Still he complained me.

Next was on another day. I was riding my bike and i was hit by a fish seller. He came through wrong side and hit me. He was drunken driver. All the pedestrians gathered at the scene. They scolded the fisherman without asking anything. Thanks to those people for that. For reacting and supporting the right. Thats not the matter here. I said this incident to my mom. Mom said, " Oh God !! Save him always..". But do you know what my dad told about this ?? " Allelum ninakku ichiri speed kooduthalanu..."* :-P The same dialogue... How did I bear it?? I don't know.

You are usually speed in driving.

I was on the right track, slow speed. Fish seller was drunken and also came along the wrong side. But dad still complaining me.

Ok complaining is bearable. He could have used different dialogue right?? Hehe...

Is this care??? Or is dad usually like this?? Or is he so cool ??? Or is he not bothered?? :-P

Whatever it is, God saved me on both situations.

Thank God.

The Star of Hearts...

He was born in 1972. July 8. No one thought he would be a star. His elder brother introduced him to cricket. Now he is the 5th highest scorer in ODI, 5th person to score 10,000 runs in history. He is none other than the former captain of the Blue Team " Sourav Ganguly".

I came to know about Ganguly and became a fan of him on watching the match India against Sri Lanka in 1999 World Cup. His batting thrashed Srilankan bowlers. He scored 183 runs from 154 balls. India was achieving easy victory with his help. Due to World Cup money scandals, the team was totally down. Many players were out of team. at that time Sachin Tendulkar was the captain. He resigned due to health problems. Finally the board decided to make Sourav Ganguly as the captain of team INDIA.

There was a time when team India was beaten up by weakest teams Kenya and Bangladesh. Fans of India were really feared on seeing India's each game. There was a time when audience throw bottles on ground as protest when India was near to failure of match.
All those bad times were made history by the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly.
Indians started loving India's match after 1999. Indian team started rising to the top both on ODIs and Tests.
Many modifications were made on the team by Ganguly. The King of offsides Sourav Ganguly started losing concentration on his batting. He scored less runs. But the team India will win.
I still remember the match in which Zaheer Khan was given the last over even if he was too expensive in that match. That was his confidence with his players. That match was also won by India.
Many new and young players found seat in team India. Ashish Nehra, Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj, even the King of Captains Dhoni was also brought to the team by Ganguly. With the help of a good coach Wright, Ganguly made the team reach to 2003 WorldCup Final. But India lost the flow with Australia in the final and lost the World Cup. Usually all captains will resign from the team when the team fails in world cup or board changes the captain. But Ganguly was really appreciated by both board and the Indian cricket fans to bring India back with full recharge.
All captains including the Worldcup 2003 champions Australia's captain Ricky Pointing feared his captaincy.
After 2003 Worldcup, Wright resigned as coach of India and Greg Chappel was appointed as the coach. That was the fall of Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly. Problems easily spread within team. Ganguly's ability was  not at all remembered by the team mates or board. The young players whom Ganguly introduced were also against him. Finally Ganguly was out of team for his bad batting. Some of the team members complained that Ganguly was very harsh to them.
Ganguly appeared in a few matches after a break. Fans were expecting his full return. He couldn't reach. He was avoided from Indian team. He was not ready to retire. He was having full of expectations about his return.
He was selected to play in World Cup 2007. But he couldn't do much. His bad scores over ruled his good battings at that time.
Finally IPL , Indian Premiere League was a chance for Ganguly. He was made the captain of his Home Team. KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS. The owner of KKR bought Ganguly, but no other strong players. Still Ganguly managed to get the good out of it. It was really challenging. Finally KKR was out of both IPLs early. The last match of KKR on both IPL witnessed Ganguly's super batting ruling the off sides.
Finally he was out of KKR. Now in 2011, he was avoided by KKR and other teams. Finally KochiIPL team planned to get Ganguly as captain. But the opposition made by other teams made his way to the IPL closed. Still hi fans expecting him on any cricket.

You watch India's match and enjoy their victory. The reason behind such a best team is the one and only star Sourav Ganguly. He is still the star on every cricketer's heart.
Salute to the great man from every cricketer.
Hats off...

THE ESCAPE - A Gift from God !!

This is not a story, but a real life situation in my life happened 5 years ago. ie; when i was doing my 2nd year B.Tech. I was going for maths tuition on all Saturdays and Sundays. It was series exam time. Series starts on Monday. The first exam is maths. I was attending the tuition on Sunday  with 5 of my friends of my batch. Others were studying at home. 5 boys and 1 girl was the batch.

The studies were going on with heat on our heads. At that time students of other college who came for tuition there had a quarrel with one of the local person living there. These boys of other college hurt him entering his house. The tuition class was on the terrace of a rented house. Those boys were enjoying the victory over the local. At that time we heard a great sound coming towards the building. We saw a group of goons coming towards our building. There is only one way for exit. No other way because it was terrace. The goons entered the class and hurt those two boys of other college. And they also hurt one of the faculty. They entered the class and destroyed tables and chairs. We were shocked to see such incidents really for the first time. The goons were attacking all the friends of the boys. They came near us and destroyed the tables and chairs and went back. By Gods grace we escaped. After all the incident, as usual the police came. And we all went home. That shock affected our Maths exam. All our parents were afraid hearing this incident. Many stopped coming to class after that.

This was the incident happened. But today i had a talk unfortunately with one of the neighbors of that building. From his words i understood that its by Gods grace, we all escaped. He said, On that day all the local gangs were attending a marriage that no one could reach there on time. Only a few who didn't attend came to the class. If all the goons were there at the situations, we also could have got hurt very badly. That was a real luck.
On the day of incident we thought why God is doing this to us disturbing our exam. But the truth was that, we went home early only because a small group of goons attacked. Otherwise we would have faced Medical Aids.
Really God's Grace...

Thank God

One day at hospital...

Recently i went to a private hospital to see my friend's father who was admitted there. I was there only for a short time, but i could witness different people with different situations. But many of us relax in home without knowing any thing. I was thinking about the situation of those persons. Really bad situations...
This post is nothing but different situations i witnessed there.

I went to the hospital at night. I was talking with my friend. A nurse came with a slip which contained a list of medicines to be bought. I took charge of buying the medicines from the pharmacy. My friend's mother gave me the money too. I was in queue at the pharmacy. 2 persons were in front of me. The first person's list contained 15- 17 medicines which cost him only around Rs 700. The person who was in front of me had only 4-5 medicines to buy. But when the cashier told the price, i was shocked to hear that which was around Rs 5700. So imagine the shock of the person who was buying that. He didn't had enough money in his hand. So he kept the medicines there itself and went.  It was my turn. After buying medicine when i was about to leave the counter, a woman of around 40 years old came there. She looked so tired and weak. Her left hand wrist was dressed with tight bandage. It was a suicide attempt by cutting vein. I confirmed it when she answered to the query of the Pharmacist. I was thinking about her situation of facing others after surviving a suicide attempt. I left the place.

Suddenly an Ambulance came with emergency. An old man with bleeding head was the patient. He was left in the casualty for a while with first aid. After a few minutes his health condition became seriously weak and he was moved from there to emergency ward. After that an unconscious old woman was brought to the casualty. Nurses rushed to her and started checking her pulse rate and blood pressure. Suddenly she woke up from unconscious state. The problem with her was she took insulin medicine without taking food which made her fall down unconsciously.

Many of the patient' s relatives were rushing in search of money for treatments.

I was thinking the situations of all these persons individually. Its really like a fire on our tail if we are involved it.

I could understand one thing from all these. Many of us don't care of our health which leads us to hospital.
Take care of your own health. If you don't get the seriousness of taking care of your health then i would advice you to go to the hospital and watch these directly.

Take Care. Be Healthy.

20 - 10 turns 11. Its Another New Year...

The whole world is celebrating to welcome the 11th year of the 21st century, expecting a good time throughout the year.

All medias will have full time turn back to year 2010 reminding us of the past.
I am thinking different. Read it out.

When we were born we don't know about month, day or date. But in Kinder Garden, teacher taught us about Date, Months, and year. We learned New year start with January. After that lesson, New Year was just January 1st for us. Gradually we learned time, hours, minutes & seconds. After few mistakes in the beginning, we started telling the time looking at the clock. We learned counting down from 10 to 1.

During lower primary, new year celebration was just in writing date to the left of margin in our notebooks.
Once school reopened on 30th December. 31st December before the classes winded up teacher said that we could meet next year. All students were confused, and whole class thought that the teacher had a wrong statement. Teacher itself corrected our confusions. But we started confusing our friends with the same dialogue.

During upper primary we sang during the Christmas song. Most probably last song will be wishing Christmas and New year. We started wishing our friends a new year before they wish us.
During high school we started buying greeting cards of  range Rs 1 to Rs 3 just printed Happy New year. Close friends were wished Christmas too.

After high school, we started buying greeting cards. This time range was Rs. 25 and above. Good words, with our words too filled up the cards. But the number of friends whom we plan to give the cards will decrease. New Year was celebrated with friends in some near by bakery.
During college,  we started celebrating New year in Hotels, some boys with beverages and some celebrating at home with there parents. Email or E- greeting cards were used to wish our friends.
After that, New year was wished through orkut scraps and status messages, or post in Groups. After orkut season, New year was wished writing on walls, of Facebook. or status message of Facebook or tagging new year Photos. If you like you will click like button, and also leave a comment. And also the celebrations are at pubs, or clubs, or star hotels with a great dinner or heavy drinks.

SMSs was rocking all the time. Once it jammed the whole network. So that now the sms charges are costly on 31st Dec & January 1st. All the SMS wishes will be ended by 30th December. And also the celebrations will be by turning off lights during last 10 seconds before 1st January counting down from 10 and turning on lights at counting 0 with heavy screaming HAPPY NEW YEAR. Fireworks at some places, and so on. And land phones and mobile phones will be busy, with wishes. And some people wishes New year through their blog, like me. The whole world waiting for the new technology, to wish next year.

After all, during all the new year time, everyone will have their own "New year resolution".  Hope you have one this year too and is good. All the best for that.

A very warm wish for all my friends and a special wish for my supporters of this blog.
    "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011"
May you have one of the best times of your life this year.
