6 months of tough time

There is numerology, astrology, Palmistry, etc. There are a lot of people who live with palmistry. Even though I don't believe in these things, once I showed my hand to a old lady at Marine drive, Cochin who was ready to read my fate through my hands. This happened about 3 years back.

She looked at my hands and told a lot of things. I paid her the fees for the palmistry. I was very happy to give the money because, there were a lot of people with me from my family. She was not telling anything, she was really boasting about me for 5 minutes looking at my hand in front of my family members. They were amazed hearing all these. Only a few people say good about me. That was the first time we were seeing her, and she told a lot of good things about me and that too in front of my family members. What else should I need for the day??

Finally she told a thing that I will sign a government paper in 6 months. As I was in search of a job I was very happy, but I didn't believe. And as my parents were compelling me to try for a govt job they were also very happy to hear that.

From the very next day, my mom and dad started compelling to apply for the PSC exams and bank tests. I know that I could not get these bank jobs as there were lakhs of people attending for the exam for a very few vacancies. But my parents scolded me and compelled me to apply for the tests. They told that they were happy to give the fees for the tests. I was very sad that the money was actually getting wasted.

On that weekend I went for a movie with my dad, mom and my brother. When I came back after the interval, my mom said that she wants to tell me something seriously after the movie. After the movie she said that she saw an advertisement of an institution, which gives training for bank tests. Oh my God, my heart beat suddenly raised and was waiting for my dad's reply. As expected, dad also told me to join the institution. Finally without interest I was made joined by the restless sound by my parents at home. The classes were in the morning at 7am. My good sleep came to an end there.

Finally all the tests were done. I was waiting for the result. When i was coming back to home, police was showing hands from a long distance to stop my bike for not wearing the helmet. Before reaching them there was a right turn, I took right and there too was 2 policemen waiting for riders without helmet. I stopped my bike. They fined me a sum of Rs. 100/-. Usually we can pay and go. But on that day there was a mobile court too. Police man filled a form and told me to sign it. That was the paper from mobile court which i signed. Then I entered the mobile court and paid the money and went back home. I was checking the calendar what the stupid day that was. Finally the words of the old woman came to my mind, that I will sign a government paper in 6 months. That day was 2 days before the completion of 6 months. I closed my eyes, and took a long breath. All the bad words for the lady were waiting at my tongue.

I told my parents about signing the government paper. My parents were silent at that time, and I was making restless noise and my parents were hearing me all the evening.

My 6 months of tough time came to an end. ;)

Thank you Teacher.

Class starts with Good morning teacher or Good Afternoon Teacher and ends with Thank you teacher. It was simply said while the whole class said together. Even though that thank you didn’t come from my heart, I understood that it had a real meaning in it.  Now, whenever I move a step forward in my life, I say thanks to my teachers in my heart.

One who teaches you is a teacher, whether the teacher is elder or younger. When some elder people do mistakes, the educated kids try to correct them. But some elder people don’t like kids teaching the aged persons. Some old people say to the younger people, “Don’t teach us. We know better than you. We lived more years than you.” If you don’t know a thing, learn it, why be a stupid for whole life? It has never been said by any theories or books that teachers should be elders. Whoever shares you the knowledge, is a teacher.

Even a single word from the teacher will be useful in our life. On meeting a HR in an IT company or a doctor in a hospital, we greet them. It was taught by our teachers. I type this blog because I know the alphabets, which was taught by my teachers. All basics were taught by our teachers. Without a foundation no building will stand high. That foundation of our education was put by our teachers. Engineers, doctors, artists, accountants, etc all come from teacher’s blessing called education. People say that their hard work is behind their success. Who taught them to work hard?? It’s Teachers. Teachers gave us homework, assignments and also tested us with exams. We all did it without knowing what teacher was trying to prove.

Once in your life, stand as a teacher in front of a group, you will come to know the difficulty of a teacher trying to share the knowledge equally and to make everyone understand.

Our education started with A for Apple, and the education is still continuing and will continue till the last breath of our life.

It’s time for all to have a look back in to your life, and think what your teachers gave you. Then you will understand what the teachers shared with you was the gift from God called “Education”. This day is to remember all the teachers who built the main part of our life.

I thank all my teachers for the blessings and giving me an important part of my life, “EDUCATION”.

Thank you teacher...
" HAPPY TEACHER’s DAY "

I was forced to bunk my class during my engineering...

It was during my second year of Bachelor’s degree. After the poor performance in first year exams, me and my friend decided to work hard to perform well in the 3rd semester exam. We attended all the classes. There was lack of Electrical teachers in college. So we didn’t had Electrical classes for a long time. One day a new teacher came. She was so strict. She had to finish the portions as well as teach us effectively, just to impress everyone on her first attempt.
She taught us, asked questions every day, she never went on leave even for a half day. She used to ask us 3 or 4 times whether we understood the topics or not. She was ready to clear all the doubts. To finish portions she took 2 or 3 hours on some days. It was horrible. She was very strict while asking questions. If we didn’t answer  her questions, our marks were reduced or attendance were cut. Somehow me and my friend managed to answer her questions correctly. She was really impressed with us. When we regularly answered her questions, she started avoiding questions with us. We were asked questions only once in a week. We were happy and the classes were going smooth for us.
During class test our marks went low. Parent’s started questioning. I told my parents that it was me who didn’t study. Classes were good & teacher taught us well. On Parent - Teachers meeting, when my dad asked her about my performance, she said that I was very attentive in class, answered  all questions, but she saw nothing on my answer paper. She was really upset. My dad wanted the teacher to take too much care of my studies & he wanted the teacher to be very strict with me. His over performance made him tell the teacher, this manipulated statement, “ My son always say that the he didn’t understand anything you taught.”  I was shocked to hear that. What my dad told? Was that a dream? No... My highly volt mind went fuse out. I was thinking to get out of the scene. I was really irritated by the staring by other parents on me. I couldn’t look on my teacher’s face. I looked at my dad’s face helplessly and told in my mind, “You have spoiled everything”.  I tried to make the teacher understand the truth. But she didn’t believe. I felt like she lost all impression with me.
The next day, I told my friend about the meeting. My mind was fully thinking of cutting the class. But my friend wouldn’t allow it. After a few minutes, he said “ So the teacher will surely ask you question. If you don’t say the answer, the next aim will be me.” I was sad that my friend too got in trap. He asked something to me. My upset mind didn’t hear it. I heard it the second time when he asked, “Can we bunk the class?” Fuse out mind of mine went charged up. It was high volt to face whatever comes on our way. There after we haven’t entered any of  her class. We bought some snacks and went to the nearby ground and spent our time there for the rest of Electrical class that semester.
No doubts or confusions, we failed for  the semester exams in electrical.

My google doodle - India Independence day 2012

Aug 15 2012,
I am here in Netherlands today, first time outside India on Independence day. I woke up late at 9am. It was 12.30pm in India. I was so eager to check out the google doodle at India. I found a doodle with national bird peacock representing G and google written in saffron color.

But i was not satisfied with the doodle. I would like to add the Indian flag too on the doodle. So I was thinking to edit it. Even though i am not an expert in designing or with ms paint. I made a rough work on the doodle. I called upon Banglore google office to make my suggestion. They were not even interested to hear a suggestion and they cut my phone. So i thought of making this publish through my blog and I also posted in Facebook where all my friends will see it. Thanks to facebook for that.

I am happy now that I could contribute something on Independence day for my India. Here is the google doodle which i made a rough work.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY...

With love, From Netherlands....

I am proud to write my blog for the first time from outside India, from a beautiful place, Netherlands. And I am now in Groningen city. Its been 3 days i am here in Netherlands. Its a wonderful peace and calm place. A small city with  a lot of students, studying & working part time.

City streets filled with old buildings, long buses moving throughout. We could see only a few cars running. Most of the people prefer to walk or use bicycle. That makes healthy people with regular exercise. All cars & buses stop for the people crossing the road where there is no traffic signal. Pet dogs enjoy the mornings and evenings at the park walking with their master.Always there is a cold wind breezing throughout the city streets. People enjoy in summer always. People spent their time standing in sun.

I could see people standing in sun with their pet cats. On a sunny day, the open roof hotels stand on demand. They are filled with people with a cup of coffee and snacks. They take their time no to finish the coffee, but spent in sun.

There is separate track for pedestrians, separate tracks or cycling and then comes road in the middle. At every corner I could see cycle parking area where everyone can lock their cycles. I went to the Town land which is a shop of full of flowers, and all gardening accessories, all pet accessories, aquarium accessories and some house hold items. Everywhere the food stalls and apparel stalls remain demanded. There is a system in every shop which never get collapse.
Some houses lie in center of big farm lands, which I enjoyed all the way from Amsterdam to Groningen by train.

Once in a lifetime you should visit Netherlands. Never miss such  wonderful place.

Raise your voice, Its for your life..

"Prevention is better than cure" - This statement is used by most of the kerala people especially the elder ones. But this statement lies in their theories. In practical this statement is used by the same people only after a disaster has occurred.

Recently a 21 year old boy was killed by the poisonous food supplied at a hotel situated in the heart of the city. When the incident happened and when the news came out, people are in anger against this illegal activity of bad food supply. Some people destroyed the hotel. The authorities started inspecting the food from many hotels within the city. Minister announced to make a special act for this.

Now think that if these actions has happened one month back, the 21 yr old boy might have continued his studies now. The authorities, ministers and other officials were blind these days and these people will be alert for a period of 2 weeks. Hotels will be perfect for next 3 weeks. After that everyone will wait for the next martyr.

Now think from another angle. Why this news came out to the public?
It was the destiny which made the famous dubbing actor and his family eat the same food from the hotel. If he was not in this scene, the death of that 21 yr old boy would be just a death due to dehydration. Since the dubbing artist also got the damages from the hotel, the media took interest in it and started bringing the news out. If an ordinary citizen go and make a complaint, it ends up in a piece of white paper. Authorities or media won't move to help a normal citizen. Why?

If the same damage caused by food happen to the higher official's family persons, what will be the reaction.

I have only just one thing to say to all the people who take food from hotels. When you are having food from outside, if you feel something bad about food, "Raise your voice against bad food". Ask for clarification with the supplier or the manager. The other visitors of the hotel will support you for sure. Even you can call police or other authorities for help. But depending on these officials is not at all effective.

You brush your teeth daily to clean your mouth. You won't ask others help for that.
Like that stand against bad food and take clean food. Its for your good and healthy life.
First raise your voice, you will have thousands to support, because everyone cares for their own life.

Thank God,
RAM

This is for you...

This is for someone special.... I am proud to be what I am. Its because of you...

You held my hands to make my first steps in my life. You left my hand to make me walk on my own. You didn't expect me to fall. But I fell down, through which you taught me how to stand back and continue. You taught me many things. You taught me how to look at the clock and calculate the time using hour, minute and second hands and you also taught me the value of time. After purchasing from a shop you gave me the money making me to pay the bill teaching me addition and subtraction also teaching me the value of money.

You were my first opponent while playing snake and ladder. When I held your hand while we were in crowd for the first time, you left my hand to make me walk along with you. I was lost in the crowd after a few distance. When you came back and hold my hand, i knew that it was your lesson to make me stand alone and lose my fear. On that day you made me understand that you will never let me down & I understood that whenever I am down, you will hold me.

When teachers showed me the pictures of traffic lights, zebra crossing etc. You showed me these things in real and taught me how to be safe on road. You hold the back of bicycle to make me drive without falling down. When i moved some distance and i turned back with joy, I understood that you were not holding me. I fell down all of a sudden. I expected you. But you didn't help me to get up back and made me get up back on the cycle myself. That lesson was to teach me how to get back to life myself when I fail. You taught me drive my bike and car with the first lesson of sharing the steering while you were driving. All these lessons make me drive safely and reach home safely.

You taught me all the right ways, you tried really hard to make me stay away from bad things which helped me to be a person without bad habits. You took me to many places and showed me the world outside home. Even if it was only 1% of the whole world it was like you showed me the whole world. I used to look into your hands to see whether you have something for me in your hands when you come back home.

You bought me chocolates, you itself controlled it. You accompanied me to doctor when i was having fever. I was in your hands when doctor gave me the first injection of my life to cure my fever. You scolded me & teased me, but it was all for my good. When i was angry, you were sad, when i was sad, you were burning inside, and at the same time you tried to make me happy. I use my computer with ease because you bought me a computer at the right time to grow and stay with the new world of computers.

You did everything in the right time, you gave me everything in the right time. You made me cry, you made me fear, all to make me strong against the bad moments and you made me laugh and enjoy, to make me celebrate my life.

You hold many tensions about me, still you walk like you don't care me. You have requested to someone for me. You get angry on me, but you cry inside telling me to do it right. You never showed your tears to me, because you know that i will lose confidence if i see you cry. You never made me realise the difficulties you faced to give me a comfortable life.

You lead me in front with the light to keep away the darkness, You are My Best Friend, You are my best teacher, You are My Hero,

YOU ARE MY DAD.
I love you dad..

Today is the day...
This is for you...
HAPPY FATHER's DAY

They play with the life of Technopark employees..

This is one of the incident happened recently in Technopark, Trivandrum. All the medias were there. Still this incident was un noticed and  also was hidden. That was the reason which made me write this issue in this blog.

It was on 11th April 2012, Time 2pm..
We all were working with a sleepy mood after lunch. Around 2.10pm one of the employee felt a shake and she asked us whether it was an earthquake. We all didn't mind it when she said it first. After a few seconds we all felt the shivering of floor & desks. It was an earthquake. We all became panic. Everyone jumped out of their seats. Our supervisor asked "What happened? " One of the employee told about the shivering of building we felt. Supervisor told us to be calm and sit back. But we could not sit in that seat at that moment. We all rushed out. One of the managers came and asked "Who gave you the permission to move out? "and told she didnt feel anything. One of the manager came and asked about the problem. When one of the employees told that it was an earthquake he replied.. "Ok, So you people are moving out. Ok. Come back in 5 mins ok.."
There are boards which display the names of fire warden. These wardens were inside the office. They didn't come up with any direction or commands.

What reply should we give to these supervisor and managers?

We all met at the open auditorium which was the common point for all employees in that building. Phone calls were flying to their dear ones. News report came " Earthquake at Indonesia 8.9. Tsunami Alert." Minor Earth quake at Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Trivandrum. In every news channels it was announcing to stay outside buildings for 2 hours. But we the employees of technopark were directed back to the office after 10 minutes.

We all settled at our seats with fear. Again after 10 minutes another earth quake occured. We again moved out of the office and was sent back to office again after 5 minutes. We exit the office for the third time when another minor earth quake happened. 3 times we experienced earthquake within the building. If it was an heavy one, then the employees could have said bye to their beautiful live.

Why these managers are so irresponsible? They were playing with the lives of the employees. Why they didn't permit the employees to stay outside the building? even when the public alerts was to stay outside the building?
By evening Amritha TV reporters came. This issue was told to them while the camera was going on record. They edited that video and this issue didn't come in the news. An email was sent to Manorama newspaper, which was also ignored.

To whom should the employees tell these issue? The lives of technopark employees are in danger. All managers are caring their projects, but not valuing the lives who run these projects. There is a process called Business Continuity Management policy which is there to spare for a damage in project workspace.

But what will spare for the lives of 30,000 employees of Technopark?

If this irresponsibility continues, Trivandrum Technopark will be witnessing a huge danger in future.

Please give value to the lives of technopark employees. They are also human beings.
Thank God for saving all of us this time.

Thank God

Love at first sight...!!

Love at first sight. Many of the people hate it and says its the worst. But a few believes in it. I am also the one among the few.

Girls usually hide their love, but boys don't. When you see a girl if you gets vibrated from toe to head, your tongue starts slipping, you start sweating, your body heat goes up, it means you have found your love. At the first sight we will not be able to understand her character or read her mind. But just the appearance will gives you the signal of your love. Some call it "Fire of Love". Even if a girl prettier in appearance come in front of you, you might not get the vibration. The vibration comes automatically. When you get the vibration on seeing a girl, that means she had set fire of love on your heart. The lightest part is that girls don't usually understand or believe this.

If you feel vibration of love on every girl you see, it means that you have some problem. The vibration is felt only when you don't have any other girl truly in your heart. And its felt not on everyone. But just someone who was waiting longer to meet you.

The main problem of this is that 80% of the people won't believe in this or try to feel it. 80% of the people try to understand the reality of the other one very well and then start loving.

Some may not feel this vibration. Some feel it. A few gets that love.

Finally, For every man there is a woman. God decides who all should join.

Thank God,
RAM

A small friendship story with a grasshopper...

It was a nice Sunday evening. I took my mom, brother and sister with me to Shangumugham beach. While standing on the shore, my mom saw a grasshopper which was found on the ground alive, but helpless to fly because of the wind. Mom called me and showed me the grasshopper. I saw my mom's face getting dull seeing the helpless grasshopper. It may be eaten by the waves or crunched by someones feet if not helped.

I too felt sad. I gave my hand to the grasshopper. It climbed on my hand and then started walking to my shoulders. I was so irritated while it was walking. After 2 seconds the irritation was lost. Grasshopper played around my fingers for a long time and then came to my shoulders to rest. I felt like i gave my shoulders for my friend to rest on. Again due to the wind it fell down. I gave my hand again for it to climb up. This time it climbed up and stayed within the palm. It didn't try to move to my shoulders. I felt like i have secured my friend within my hand.

I understood that it felt comfortable to sit in my hands. I thought of bringing it to my home. But my mom said to leave it on some grass. It changed my mind. I also thought that it should not come to my home. It should go to its home. I went to a corner where i found some grass. I kept my hand on the ground. It denied to get down of my hand. I too felt sad in leaving it. But when i kept on keeping my hand on the ground, it climbed down slowly like it was not willing to.

Sadly said bye to the grasshopper friend which was a stranger to me at first but became friends within seconds. It was like a friend leaving out of town telling bye to me.
We were strangers at first, became friends within seconds, then said bye...
Missing you my friend running over my fingers...

Thanks to my bro who captured it all.

Hope that grasshopper is enjoying its very small life.

Thank GOD
