Recently i went to a private hospital to see my friend's father who was admitted there. I was there only for a short time, but i could witness different people with different situations. But many of us relax in home without knowing any thing. I was thinking about the situation of those persons. Really bad situations...
This post is nothing but different situations i witnessed there.
I went to the hospital at night. I was talking with my friend. A nurse came with a slip which contained a list of medicines to be bought. I took charge of buying the medicines from the pharmacy. My friend's mother gave me the money too. I was in queue at the pharmacy. 2 persons were in front of me. The first person's list contained 15- 17 medicines which cost him only around Rs 700. The person who was in front of me had only 4-5 medicines to buy. But when the cashier told the price, i was shocked to hear that which was around Rs 5700. So imagine the shock of the person who was buying that. He didn't had enough money in his hand. So he kept the medicines there itself and went. It was my turn. After buying medicine when i was about to leave the counter, a woman of around 40 years old came there. She looked so tired and weak. Her left hand wrist was dressed with tight bandage. It was a suicide attempt by cutting vein. I confirmed it when she answered to the query of the Pharmacist. I was thinking about her situation of facing others after surviving a suicide attempt. I left the place.
Suddenly an Ambulance came with emergency. An old man with bleeding head was the patient. He was left in the casualty for a while with first aid. After a few minutes his health condition became seriously weak and he was moved from there to emergency ward. After that an unconscious old woman was brought to the casualty. Nurses rushed to her and started checking her pulse rate and blood pressure. Suddenly she woke up from unconscious state. The problem with her was she took insulin medicine without taking food which made her fall down unconsciously.
Many of the patient' s relatives were rushing in search of money for treatments.
I was thinking the situations of all these persons individually. Its really like a fire on our tail if we are involved it.
I could understand one thing from all these. Many of us don't care of our health which leads us to hospital.
Take care of your own health. If you don't get the seriousness of taking care of your health then i would advice you to go to the hospital and watch these directly.
Take Care. Be Healthy.
