A world without pens & pencils....

When i was in class last Sunday  i was thinking about the speed of technology being part of our life. I was writing notes after a long time. At that time i found difficult to get my usual speed of writing and getting the correct spellings, etc. Then i thought if there is no pencils and pens....

My thought went like this. I am finding it difficult to write after a long time. So if technology take over the places of our pens and pencils with laptops and computers, our ability to write will disappear for sure. In future, the next generation children will carry laptops to schools. Teachers will have power point presentations instead of notes. Online exams. As the civil drawing was made easy with autocad, the drawings will also be electronic. So just think if we tell the next generation students to write alphabets, they will take the whole night to complete from A to Z, but less than 10 seconds to type.

Our signatures in certificates and papers will be taken over by the E - identity cards. Kinder garden students will talk about laptop standby time and speed instead of pencils and rubbers. They will start borrowing laptop chargers instead of sharpeners.

The old composition writing will be replaced by the email. Students will type the composition. Attach it and send to the teacher. Assignments through email. or transactions through bluetooth.  Mark sheet back to you through email.

University exams online. Attendance marking with id cards. No additional sheets. No delay of results. You dont have to wait for your results in front of the busy website.

When all go electronic your ability to draw, to write etc, will lose.

Grow with technology, but also try not to lose your ability.
Otherwise tomorrow stationery will be history.

  1. But there would still b paintings and all na? oil paintings things like that? digital paintings would never replace them for sure....

The olden times were never forgotten.... we still talk abt ancient arts, perform them and study them....

So i think pens and pencils would still b there even if technology keep growing....

  5. That will reduce the excessive cutting of trees for paper.
Secondly, be it a paper, laptop or a mobile, writing skills can still be maintained by good grammar, reading good books/e-articles, and also by writing/typing good blogs, emails, articles poetry, stories, novels, etc etc. Above all, nowadays, we don't byheart even our beloved's phone number as it is ready in e-form. Similarly, what is the need of byhearting all the spelling when a spell check is available? If the next generation are given good grammar coaching and reading habits are developed, then writing skills will still improve, without pen and paper.

By the way,Your writing skills have improved manifold. Congratulations.

Your paragraph-division is good. Need to improve a little more on it.
